This track explores ethics of video games. There is a phenomenon of players who save before killing NPCs just to restore the previous state as if nothing happened. Then I added "Westworld" like story from the NPCs' perspective. It even quotes "The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind".
lyrics
Just another peaceful day
Except it's actually not
We're just a background to this play
Not essential to the plot
For him we are on display
The volatile man in black
Used to help us right away
Now we are afraid he's back
Save
Load
No consequence, he's deranged
The most powerful man in the land
With a saved game his face changed
He's ready to kill, to kill, to kill
No consequence, he's deranged
The most powerful man in the land
With a saved game his face changed
He's ready to kill, to kill, to kill
Save load save load
Save
Load
Save
Load
He's got this habit to save
Just before starting a carnage
He won't give us even a grave
He will leave us with garbage
We were naïve to call him friend
We will die out at this rate
Our consciousness will end
Soon when he loads the previous state
No consequence, he's deranged
The most powerful man in the land
With a saved game his face changed
He's ready to kill, to kill, to kill
No consequence, he's deranged
The most powerful man in the land
With a saved game his face changed
He's ready to kill, to kill, to kill
With this character's death, the thread of prophecy is severed
Restore a saved game to restore the weave of fate
Or persist in the doomed world you have created
SAVE (kill kill kill kill)
LOAD (kill kill kill kill)
SAVE (kill kill kill kill)
LOAD (kill kill kill kill)
